Kickboxing grew out of the martial arts movements in the 1960's and 70's developed from Karate, Muay Thai, Khmer Boxing and Boxing considered by many to be a hybrid martial art - the development of Kickboxing led directly to the growth of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Kickboxing is widely practiced and is considered an excellent discipline for self-defense, improving fitness and agility as well as for competition.
FIMA Martial Arts offers Kickboxing classes five days a week (except for Bank Holidays) at the Tunbridge Wells Martial Arts Centre, with each class led by a fully trained and qualified instructor. Our classes are open to all ages and abilities.

Note: During the Covid-19 restiction period, we will only be holding Kickboxing classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All classes need to be pre-booked (see our Booking Page), and the classes have been shortened to one hour (18:30 - 19:30).
